The elegant architectural ensembles dominate the city's layout. It was in this city that the world famous Russian writers, composers, and scientists created their works of genius. The city has much to offer, it holds intact a thousand relics of the older days, and keeps surprises even for its own citizens.

Day 1

Arrival in St. Petersburg, meeting a local guide, transfer to the hotel, check-in, dinner.

Day 2

Breakfast, general sightseeing tour of the city acquaints visitors with the city's highlights and places of interest: the main thoroughfare Nevsky prospect, the ensemble of the Palace square, the Decembrists Square with the equestrian statue of Peter I, the Admiralty building, the ensemble of the Spit of the Basil's Island, the University, the Field of Mars, the Smolny Cathedral. Afternoon excursion to the Peter & Paul Fortress includes a tour of the Fortress territory, and a visit to the Cathedral that was a burial ground of the Romanovs' dynasty. Tour of the Russian museum provides an opportunity to get acquainted with the masterpieces of the Russian icon painters, artists, and sculptors. Dinner at hotel.

Day 3

Breakfast, trip to Pavlovsk, the former summer residence of the Russian Tsar Paul I. Paul's Palace is one of the most beautiful Tsar's summer residences, featuring exquisitely designed, elegant gala and private rooms full of authentic rare objects like furniture sets, tapestries, gifts by the European Royal Courts, a rich collection of clocks, and china. In front of the Palace there is a large park with pavilions and alleys adorned with sculpture. Dinner on return to St. Petersburg.

Day 4

Breakfast. Morning tour of the world-renowned Hermitage museum. The total collection of this extraordinary museum numbers well over 2 million exhibits, therefore this tour aims to acquaint visitors with the famous masterpieces of the West European Art, the works by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo, Titian, Rembrandt, Rubens, Van Dyck, and the paintings by French impressionists and post-impressionists. The tour also includes visiting the gala and the private rooms of the Winter Palace. Dinner.
