This trip combines visiting the highlights of the Northern Russian capital, St. Petersburg, and the ancient architectural and religious monuments of Novgorod and Petrozavodsk. The tour enables a visitor to get acquainted with the cultural wealth and architectural splendour of the Imperial St. Petersburg, to trace the history of Russia from the 11th through 19th centuries in Novgorod, and to admire the miraculous wooden church ensemble built without a single nail - a masterpiece of the wooden Russian architecture - on Kizhi Island.

Arrival in Saint Petersburg, transfer to the hotel, check in, dinner, overnight

Breakfast, sightseeing tour of the city, visit to the Peter and Paul Fortress, lunch at a city restaurant, stroll along the Nevsky prospect, dinner, overnight at the hotel

Day 3

Breakfast, tour of the Hermitage museum, lunch at a city restaurant, tour of the St. Isaac's Cathedral, dinner, overnight

Day 4

Breakfast, whole day bus trip to Novgorod, sightseeing tour of the city including visits to the Kremlin, St. Sophia's cathedral, lunch, Yuri's Monastery, a wooden architecture museum in the open air, return to St. Petersburg, dinner, overnight

Day 5

Breakfast, trip to Pushkin, tour of the Catherine's Palace and park, lunch at the restaurant "Tsarskoye Selo", trip to Pavlovsk, tour of the Paul's Palace, dinner, overnight

Day 6

Breakfast, trip to Petrodvorets, tour of the Grand Palace and the Lower park with fountains, lunch at a city restaurant, tour of the Alexander-Nevsky Cloisters, dinner, transfer to the railway station, departure to Petrozavodsk

Day 7

Arrival in Petrozavodsk, transfer to the hotel "Severnaya", breakfast at the hotel (a day-room is provided to the group for the whole day), trip to Kizhi by hydrofoil (along the Onega Lake), tour of the island, lunch, return to Petrozavodsk, tour of the city, dinner, transfer to the station, departure to St. Petersburg

Arrival in St. Petersburg, breakfast, transfer to the airport, departure. End of services.
