This exclusive tour provides a tourist with an opportunity to have an extensive sightseeing program in St. Petersburg, to enjoy the sight of the ancient Kremlin and the Cathedrals of Novgorod, and to take a boat trip to the legendary island of Valaam. Surrounded by the waters of the lake Ladoga the island is both a most picturesque sight, and one of the major centres of the Russian Orthodox Church, the old Monastery of Valaam being a special attraction for pilgrims. It takes one night for the visitors to reach this island on board the comfortable m/s "Kronstadt" or "St. Petersburg" (each provides accommodation for 320 passengers). A restaurant, 3 bars, video, music and dancing rooms are at the disposal of the guests. A boat trip around the island to the Valaam Monastery can be arranged optionally.
