Hotel 'Oktyabrskaya' is disposed in two buildings, the main block andšthe subsidiary one. Built in 1847 the main block of hotel "Oktiabrskaya" is one of the oldest and largest hotels in St. Petersburg. It is situated in the middle of the Nevsky prospect, the main thoroughfare of St.šPetersburg, opposite the Moscow railway station and the metro station "Ploshchad Vosstaniya". Due to its extremely convenient location it is very popular with businessmen who are always short of time, and appreciate the easiest access to the hotel from any part of the city.
Numerous museums, theaters, shopping centers, and restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel. None of the rooms looks similar.
