Arrival in St. Petersburg, Russian traditional welcome with "bread & salt", Transfer to a hotel, check-in; first-hand acquaintance with "The Venice of the North" right afterwards; dinner in a city restaurant.

Day 2
|
Breakfast, continuation of the city sightseeing tour. Visit to the Peter & Paul Fortress, lunch in a city restaurant, visit to the Hermitage including the Winter Palace to see the gala and private rooms of the winter residence of the Tsar's family. Dinner.

Day 3
|
Breakfast, trip to the Tsars' Village (the summer residence of the royal family is an architectural masterpiece designed by the famous architect Rastrelli in the Russian baroque style. The golden suite of rooms opening in succession fascinates with its fairytale dazzling splendor, as well as the famous Amber Chamber restored to life by the efforts of the outstanding masters and caring people. Proceed to Pavlovsk: the most stylish and artistic of all the Tsars' summer residences, with a sumptuous and serene landscape park - a perfect place to escape to from the crowded Nevsky prospect. The Paul's Palace was built in the classical style, and is the finest and most successful examples of it. The Palace is famous for its outstanding collections of porcelain, tapestries, clocks, exquisite samples of the 18th and 19th centuries' furniture. Lunch is served in a typical Russian restaurant. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4
|
Breakfast, visit to one of the numerous Romanov Palaces - the Palace of Grand Prince Vladimir. Departure to Simferopol (about 3 hours by plane or 32 hours by train). Transfer to Yalta (100 km away). A local guide will give the necessary information about the region on the way. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner.

Day 5
|
Breakfast, visit to the former summer residence of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II. The Livadia Palace was built in the Italian renaissance style in 1911. Lunch is served in the restaurant 'Tsar's Cuisine' (a replica of the one in the Frederick's Palace). Dinner at the hotel.

Day 6
|
Breakfast, trip to Alupka to visit the palace (built in 1840) and the fantastic picturesque park of Count Vorontsov. Visit the wine cellars founded for the Royal Court of Nicholas II to learn about the history of the Crimean wines, and to taste various brands of the noble wines. Lunch in a city restaurant. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 7

Breakfast, trip to Faros to visit the Faros Church. Lunch in a city restaurant. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 8
|
Breakfast, tour of the Massandra Palace, known as a hunter's lodge of the Russian Tsar Alexander III. Lunch. Visit to the famous Botanical Garden. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 9
|
Breakfast, transfer to the airport (or the railway station).Arrival in St. Petersburg. Transfer to a hotel, check-in.

Breakfast, transfer to the airport. Flight back home.
