Day 1 |
Arrival in St. Petersburg, welcome by Comintour' tour escort, transfer to the hotel, check in, dinner. |

Day 2 |
Breakfast, sightseeing tour of the city, visit to the Peter & Paul Fortress, lunch in a downtown restaurant, tour of the Hermitage. |

Day 3 |
Breakfast, trip to Pushkin, tour of the Catherine's Palace, lunch, proceed to Pavlovsk for a tour of Emperor Paul' Palace, dinner in a city restaurant, transfer to the railway station to board a night train to Petrozavodsk. |

Day 4 |
Arrival in Petrozavodsk early morning, transfer to the hotel, check in, breakfast,Sightseeing tour of the city including a visit to the private gallery 'Dolls' House', proceed the excursion to the famous resort 'Martsial Waters' to taste the salubrious spring water. Visit to the Church of the Apostle Peter (built in 1721), and continue to the waterfalls 'Kivatch' where a picnic with shish kebab expects you. Return to Petrozavodsk, dinner at the hotel. |

Day 5 |
Breakfast, visit to the exhibition of the famous rock glyptic from the Onega Lake and the from the White Sea. At 12:00 a hydrofoil will take you to the Kizhi Island (1,5 hour across the Onega Lake). Tour of the museum in the open air, and a visit to the Church of the Hearse Cloth of St. Maria. At 17:40 return to Petrozavodsk by a hydrofoil. Dinner at the hotel. |

Day 6 |
Breakfast, departure to Sortavala that is 260 km away, ca. 6 hours by bus, and 2 hours by rafts across the river Shuya to the beautiful site in the pine tree wood on the picturesque river bank where lunch will expect you. Those who don't like rafting can get to the place by bus. Arrival at Sortavala, check in at the hotel. |

Day 7 |
Breakfast, checkout, transfer to the pier to get to Valaam Island by boat in 1 hour 40 minutes across the Lake Ladoga. Walking tour of the Valaam Island, visit to the Transfiguration Cloisters, visit to a secluded monastery of Resurrection, lunch in the refectory, concert of liturgical music. Return to Sortavala by boat, and then to Petrozavodsk by bus. Tourists are invited to visit a typical Karelian village Kinerma, on the way where dinner is arranged with the authentic specialties of the Karelian kitchen. On arrival in Petrozavodsk transfer to the railway station to take a night train back to St. Petersburg. |
