The fountain season in St.Peterburg starts 19 April
The first fountain that will be switched on after the winter will be The Sphere at Malaya Sadovaya Street. Gradually most the city fountains will be connected to water during the next few days. The fountains of Kronshtadt will be switched on on 1st of May. By Victory Day on 9th May will be started the big fountain cascades at Moskovsky Prospect and Finlandsky Train Station.
This summer only 43 out of 72 city fountains will be working. The rest are reconstructed or repaired.
