Moscow may get floating car parks

| Lack of available land and high property prices force to seek alternative solutions to the dire problem of accessible parking space that is rife in Moscow. The authorities of the Russian capital came to quite unusual idea how to solve the problem - floating car parks. Three stored parking lots will be built on barges, floating on Mosow River. There can be built up to 40 parks, each for 100 cars, situated mostly near train and Metro stations. The first spots for such parkings can be auctioned in 2013. |
