Opened in 1971, the museum is in the flat, where the writer spent his last years. It was in this flat, where he wrote his “The brothers Karamazov”and where he died in 1881.The rooms are restored and his personal belongings are on display. The display includes books and photos with Dostoevsky’s autographs, his portraits and manuscripts.
